Microsoft Exchange 2007 and System Resources.

So, I discovered that if you attempt to install Microsoft Exchange 2007 on a small server or a virtualized server you may run into problems, because Exchange automatically disables itself if it finds that it is consuming too many resources. Usually this would be great, as you really don't want your Exchange server consuming all your hard drive space. But when you are creating an edge server (which simply scans and then forwards the email on to a hub server) it may not be nearly as important. If you are setting up an Exchange instance that doesn't require tons of resources (and you are sure about this) The Exchangepedia Blog has a great article entitled, "Exchange Server 2007 Transport: 452 4.3.1 Insufficient System Resources." It details why this error occurs and how to disable Exchange's automatic system monitoring.
